Jefferson Community Garden

Located at 612 South College Avenue, this garden is made available for use as a community garden through a partnership between the City of Fayetteville and the Fayetteville School Dsitrict.

Jefferson Community Garden is in the south yard of the Fayetteville Adult Education Center on the corner of Martin Luther King Boulevard and South College Avenue. With 11 plots available, the garden is surrounded with a wrought-iron fence and has a centrally located water spigot. Each plot is filled with a mix of topsoil, course sand and compost.

2013 Spring Registration and Waiting List

Attending Spring Registration is the best way to insure you will get a plot(s).  Spring Registration is designed as a community-building event and all gardeners are strongly encouraged to attend.  Here you will meet fellow gardeners, receive a Gardener’s Welcome Packet, learn about volunteering at your garden and receive free garden seeds.

Spring Registration Day will be held on March 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Senior Activity and Wellness Center, 945 S. College Avenue.Please mark your calendars.
